Located on the shores of North Lake Huron Shore Drive, our motel offers something truly special: simplicity, history, and a direct view of the lake from every room. With just five private units, our intimate property delivers peace, quiet, and a touch of vintage charm.

Nestled on 56 sprawling acres, this property offers a peaceful and secluded setting while still being conveniently located right off the highway. Open seasonally from June through October, it provides the perfect home base for experiencing Michigan’s warm-weather beauty — from summer swims to crisp autumn breezes.

We’re proudly family-run and rooted in hospitality. Our roots go way back to 1863 when Alcona Beach was first Homesteaded. Many of our guests return year after year for the same reason: it feels like home.
